Security Day in the Far North
On August 27, JSC "Trust Koksokhimmontazh" together with LLC "Gazpromneft-Yamal" held a Safety Day at the construction site of the Novoportovskoye field.
Speaking to the participants of the competition at the opening of the event, Sergey Korchagin, Deputy General Director of Trust Koksokhimmontazh JSC, stressed that during the project, special attention is paid to compliance with labor protection, industrial and environmental safety standards and regulations. He noted that the company Koksokhimmontazh always adheres to the highest standards and uses only the best international experience in the field of production safety and actively implements this policy among its contractors.
This time the event turned out to be large-scale: 10 teams of 10 people each took part in it. The mood of all participants was cheerful and resolute, despite the difficult weather conditions. All teams competed for victory, demonstrating their knowledge and skills in competitions for knowledge of labor protection and safety regulations, traffic safety rules and the use of personal protective equipment, work at height and first aid rules. Outside of the team program, all participants could compete in the TRP competition and test their endurance while performing strength exercises.
The teams were also able to show their creative potential during the amateur art competition, at which each team presented a pre-prepared number. All the rooms were distinguished by originality and creativity.
In between the competitions, the performance of the creative team of the house of culture of the village of Novy Port took place. They presented to all the audience a program of national dances and songs and contributed to the festive atmosphere.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the team of LLC "STEM", the second - by JSC "Trust Koksokhimmontazh", and the third - by the team of LLC "Chemical Protection". All participants of the competition received commemorative statuettes, prizes and gifts.
Summing up the results of the competition day, Dmitry Artemenko, director of the New Port Directorate, noted that "there can be no losers at such an event. All teams are already winners, because the main thing on the construction site is, first of all, the preservation of human life and health, which is facilitated by strict compliance with all the rules of OT and PB. And today all the participants only confirmed their knowledge and skills. And they proved that neither rain nor a harsh north wind can interfere on the way to victory."
