A seminar on personal data legislation was held at the Koksokhimmontazh-Volga enterprise
On October 13, a training seminar on compliance with the requirements of the legislation on personal data, organized by the Roskomnadzor Department, was held at the Koksokhimmontazh-Volga enterprise in Yaroslavl.
The report was made by an expert in the field of personal data processing and information protection, a representative of Roskomnadzor, T.R. Surova. The seminar was attended by large companies of the Yaroslavl region: the Vimpel Shipbuilding Plant, the Russian Mechanics machine-building plant, the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery, the April Group of Companies, the CHROME leather production plant and others.
After the seminar, a round table was held on the topic "Personal data: current problems of theory and practice", in which all participants were able to discuss aspects of the development of regulatory documents for their organizations, and also shared their accumulated experience in processing personal data in their industries. The issues of the concept and classification of personal data, topical issues related to their depersonalization and anonymization were considered, and some modern projects were also analyzed in detail
The event was fruitful, the seminar participants noted the relevance and usefulness of the information received. Representatives of the companies agreed that it is necessary to continue this kind of cooperation on the exchange of experience on a regular basis.
