Design Institute of Coke Chemical Installation: a quarter of a century of creative work
The development of the organization of LLC "KHM-project" began with the design of steel vertical tanks for the storage of oil and petroleum products.
Gradually, customers needed companies that could not only design, manufacture and mount a steel tank, but also perform a full range of work, including internal tank systems, such as washout systems, product feed, sublayer fire extinguishing, selection of a part of the product from certain levels, as well as external systems, such as irrigation and foaming tanks, their thermal insulation, heating, install technological equipment on the tank, design the foundation for the tank. After a while, KHM-Project LLC successfully solved these issues: specific experience and rich competencies were acquired in the design of turnkey tanks, up to the external flange.
Moving forward has set the Institute the task of designing not only tank farms, but also fully completed industrial production facilities.
To date, LLC "KHM-project" is a design organization that carries out complex design of industrial facilities. The organization works for the oil and oil refining industry, the production of mineral fertilizers, ferrous metallurgy, and the gas industry.
The company has two main offices, in Moscow and Volgograd. At the moment, a third office has been organized in Cherepovets, historically a "reference" city of Coke chemical repair. To ensure high-quality and fast work, special software products and practices are used that allow for the rapid exchange of information both between the company's offices and between representative offices at project construction sites, of which there are already 5 at the moment (Yaroslavl, Ryazan, Ufa, Khabarovsk, Vladivostok). The total number of employees is more than 100 people
Currently, KHM-Project LLC is working in parallel on several large EPC contracts, developing documentation in new directions for itself. The implementation of the most advanced software products of Aveva and ASCON companies is coming to an end, allowing to improve the quality of project work, including taking into account the remoteness of employees from different offices from each other.
In the present conditions, constant work "on oneself", increasing the range of services offered to the market, expanding the geographical presence and conducting work from the formation of the appearance of the object to its commissioning allows LLC "KHM-project" to look optimistically into the future and believe that new frontiers will be taken after a while.
