The Severo-Russian field has started pilot operation
On December 19, 2019, the Severo-Russian field with a projected production level of 5.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 700 thousand tons of gas condensate per year began pilot operation in the mode of commissioning under load.
Russian Russian field is located in the Tazovsky district of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and is the first of a group of fields of the North Russian block, which also includes Dorogovskoye, Vostochno-Tazovskoye and Harbeyskoye fields, the launch of which is planned for 2020-2021.
The construction of the complex gas treatment plant was carried out by JSC "Trust Koksokhimmontazh". In 15 months, more than 90 kilometers of pipelines have been installed and tested, 11,000 piles have been loaded, 115 kilometers of various cable and wire products have been laid. The total weight of the installed metal structures was 9,000 tons. 78 pieces of equipment were used to carry out the work, the number of specialists at the peak of construction reached 1300 people per day.
Despite the tight construction deadlines, harsh weather conditions, difficult transport accessibility (the facility is located 300 km from the nearest city on an impassable tundra) and strict requirements for the quality of work performed, the engineering and technical and working staff of the Trust Koksokhimmontazh company successfully coped with the task and fulfilled all contractual obligations.
Thanks to the thoughtful and well-coordinated work of highly qualified teams of the Customer and JSC Trust Koksokhimmontazh, professional and competent planning and interaction, it was possible to ensure timely commissioning of the field facility.
"The successful launch of the Severo-Russian field is in line with our strategy to increase natural gas production at the company's assets in the area of the Unified Gas Supply System," said Leonid Mikhelson, Chairman of the NOVATEK Management Board.
