Step into adulthood - bachelors defended their diplomas

 On June 21, the defense of the final qualifying works of full-time students in the direction of "Equipment and technology of welding production" took place at the M.T. Kalashnikov IzhSTU. The profession of a welder today is one of the most promising and in demand. Such specialists are on a special account at each production.

 Among the members of the attestation commission there was also the director of production of LLC "TSM" Yuri Borisovich Zernov, who himself graduated from IzhSTU 15 years ago. Nine students appeared before the commission. Three of them had a pre-graduate internship at Uralmetallurgmontazh and were able to get acquainted with modern welding technologies and take a direct part in the manufacture of metal structures, which significantly reinforced the theoretical knowledge gained. All students successfully defended their final qualifying papers.

The cooperation agreement signed in August 2021 with Izhevsk State Technical University named after M.T. Kalashnikov is already yielding results: during the academic year, many joint events of the university and the enterprise took place: conferences, open days, industrial practice for students. Our interaction is only gaining momentum. Work is also underway with other universities. We are interested in young promising specialists and are ready to raise them.
