The launch of the third stage of the condensate deethanization unit at the Samburgsky license area took place
JSC Arktikgas, a joint venture of PJSC NOVATEK and PJSC Gazprom Neft, has expanded the capacity of the condensate deethanization unit (UDC) at the Samburgsky license area in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District for the development of Achimov deposits. In the mode of commissioning under load, the third stage of the UDC with a capacity of 1.2 million tons of condensate per year was launched.
JSC "Trust Koksokhimmontazh" acted as the general contractor for the construction of site facilities: installation of input loops (UVSH) and condensate deethanization unit (UDC). The facility was built in the shortest possible time in the conditions of the existing site. Work on the sinking of piles began in the summer of 2019, and in just seven months a full range of construction, installation and commissioning works was completed. During the peak period, over 750 highly qualified specialists and 35 units of various equipment were involved at the site.
"The drilling of new Achimov wells and the commissioning of additional production capacities will contribute to the growth of gas and liquid hydrocarbons production in the ESG (unified gas supply system) zone, as well as the growth of gas condensate processing volumes," said Leonid Mikhelson, Chairman of the NOVATEK Management Board.
