Udmurt enterprises made a New Year's gift to students of IzhSTU
On December 29, the grand opening of the New Year tree took place near the main building of Izhevsk State Technical University. The initiator of the installation was JSC "Trust Koksokhimmontazh", represented in the capital of Udmurtia by the plant for the production of metal structures LLC "TSM" and the installation organization LLC "KHM-Arctic".
Alexander Hubert, Acting Rector of IzhSTU, noted that the Christmas tree is only one of the few New Year's gifts from the enterprises of the KHM group to the university.
- We have agreed that our partners will make a welding laboratory for students, as well as help equip a theoretical training room. It is doubly pleasant that the companies are run by graduates of IzhSTU.
"Together with IzhSTU, we are forming a system of practice-oriented education. JSC Trust Koksokhimmontazh is ready to participate in the training of specialists," said Yuri Zernov, Director of Production and Commerce at TSM LLC. At the same time, he expressed confidence that the skills that students will receive during practice and internships at KHM enterprises, together with the theoretical knowledge gained at the university, will make them more competitive in the labor market.
Sergey Trubitsyn, Deputy General Director of KHM-Arctic, noted that cooperation will only develop, since everyone needs strong specialists for serious all-Russian industrial projects.
Teachers and staff of the university gathered at the opening of the Christmas tree. The colorful ceremony of lighting Christmas tree lights with Santa Claus turned into a fun holiday with a round dance around the Christmas tree.
