The exhibition of industrial paintings, which opened in Yaroslavl, popularizes working professions
More than 30 canvases made in oil, acrylic and graphics by Evgeny Kalachev, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, are exhibited at the enterprise "Koksokhimmontazh-Volga".
The main purpose of the exhibition is to show visitors from a new perspective the huge objects of the chemical, metallurgical and oil and gas industries under construction in Russia. And to express gratitude to the people who work at these facilities. In recent years, professions such as installer, welder, surveyor, crane operator, unfortunately, are not heard of, but this is no less in demand.
On the opening day on the territory of KHM-Volga, the first visitors to the exhibition were the children of the plant's employees as part of the "Family Values" day. During the tour of the factory premises and workshops, children and teenagers were able to see how their parents work.
As Valery N. Zemskov, director of the KHM-Volga plant, noted at the opening of the exhibition, the company wants to draw the attention of young people to popular working professions and, perhaps, help with the choice of a life path. "Not all young people like to sit in offices and shift papers. Many people want to be involved in truly great events in the life of the country - the construction of factories, bridges, giant coke batteries the size of a stadium. That is why many people go to work in factories, in modern automated workshops, and create our industrial future."
The exhibition is organized by the construction company "Trust Koksokhimmontazh", which turned 90 last year. All the pictures of objects and people of labor are painted on the construction sites of the company.
Evgeny Kalachev held a master class where children and parents painted a picture of the plant's exposition.
