XI Congress of the Russian Union of Builders

On April 18, the XI Congress of the All-Russian Intersectoral Association of Employers "Russian Union of Builders" was held in Moscow. Over the past years, the Union of Builders has grown into a large branch public association, which invariably demonstrates a balanced and constructive position, acts as a reliable partner of the state in solving pressing socio-economic problems. The event was attended by representatives of construction companies, authorities, industry public organizations and specialized universities.
Speaking at the opening of the congress, the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation I.E. Fayzullin spoke about a set of measures taken to maintain the pace of construction: "To date, five packages of measures have been approved aimed at supporting the economy, including the construction sector, which already make it possible to work effectively. In the current conditions, the priority task for us is to adapt the industry to new conditions and "remove" unnecessary administrative barriers. A lot has already been done thanks, among other things, to joint work with professional communities," he said.

The agenda of the event included reports on the activities of the RSS for the last five years, priority areas of work and strategic objectives for the period 2022-2027. Following the results of the congress, a resolution was adopted and the election of the president of the union was held. V.A. Yakovlev was elected President of OMOR RSS for a new term. The updated composition of the leadership of the union has also been formed.

JSC Trust Koksokhimmontazh is an active member of the Russian Union of Builders. The organization stood at the origins of the Union. Sergey Fufaev, General Director of "Trust Koksokhimmontazh", member of the Council of the RSS, noted: "At the congress, the builders were tasked with the main task - to prevent a decrease in the pace of construction. It is worth noting that our industry has come to today's conditions in a state of dominance of domestic construction technologies, an increase in the share of Russian equipment used at various facilities, as well as the maximum use of domestic building materials. The XI Congress of the Russian Union of Builders, which has ended, demonstrated the serious desire of construction companies to ensure the further development of the domestic construction industry."
