Yamal LNG has brought the gas liquefaction plant to full capacity
JSC Trust Koksokhimmontazh, which took part in the implementation of the strategically important Yamal LNG project, congratulates PJSC Novatek and all project participants on bringing the plant to full capacity.
On December 11, 2018, the first shipment of LNG from the third technological line of the Yamal LNG plant took place. The start of the process of shipping a batch of LNG to the gas tanker Christophe de Margerie was given by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev. Thus, the plant reached a production capacity of 16.5 million tons of liquefied natural gas a year ahead of schedule.
"The Yamal LNG project is the flagship LNG production project in Russia and will allow our country to enter new markets for the sale of hydrocarbons. Koksokhimmontazh congratulates everyone who took part in the project on this grand achievement – bringing the plant to full capacity a year ahead of schedule.
